Michael Bishop (innate November 12 1945) is an American science-fiction and fantasy writer. He has besides written detective novel together by owning SF writer Paul Di Filippo, under the joint nom de guerre Philip Lawson.
Innate within Lincoln, Nebraska, Bishop received a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia in 1967 before going on to complete a master's degree in English.
His foremost promulgated function was a short story "Piñon Fall" around 1970. He won Nebula awards in 1981 & 1982 & has been nominated for many Hugo awards.
